Riot of Colors is looking for a Front-End Developer to build responsive, accessible interfaces for a WordPress resource platform and guided questionnaire experience for a 2- to 3-week sprint.
What you’ll do
- Convert approved Figma designs into production-ready WordPress components
- Build guided questions, progress indicators, conditional states, recommendation screens, filters, cards, and detail-page modules
- Develop reusable Gutenberg, ACF, or custom-block components
- Write semantic HTML, maintainable CSS, and modular JavaScript
- Integrate components with WordPress data, REST endpoints, SearchWP, FacetWP, and custom APIs
- Build loading, validation, empty, incomplete, success, error, restart, and recovery states
- Implement keyboard navigation, focus management, reduced motion, and assistive-technology support
- Test current desktop and mobile browsers
- Resolve defects identified through accessibility and QA reviews
- Participate in code review and deployment support
What we’re looking for
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive-development skills
- Experience building custom WordPress themes, plugins, or blocks
- Ability to work accurately from Figma files and interaction specifications
- Experience with conditional forms, questionnaires, filters, or recommendation workflows
- Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous requests, and data-driven interfaces
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA
- Strong debugging, browser-testing, and performance-optimization skills
