Back in 2020, We worked with National Geographic to create limited edition Black Lives Matter shirts that were available at select Nat Geo retail locations across the US. Inspiration came from Reid Miles' work for Blue Note Records as well as the work of Emory Douglas. Bright colors and unconventional shapes weave through a natural movement you feel from the design. It's just typography because any other visual elements felt unnecessary and forced. It's a little bit raw, but that's the energy you need for a t-shirt tied to a movement. COVID derailed the roll-out and internal changes deaded the project but it's still a dope design that we are proud to be a part of.
