We were tasked with creating 3 new activations within The Helix centered around Digital Twins, Big Health Data, and the Indo-Pacific Region. A project that totaled $750,000 for the 3 exhibits.
Taking advantage of the massive space within The Helix, we worked with additional partners (they did the awesome video work) to provide Creative Direction, Copywriting, Experiential design, Storyboarding, UX Design for the entire experience, Brand Design, lighting design, an actual digital twin of The Helix, and many weeks of Subject Matter Expert interviews and stakeholder reviews to develop 3 unique, immersive experiences that educate and inform Helix guests.
We designed branding for the Digital Twins and Indo-Pacific exhibits, both on-screen and in print, and within the exhibits’ control interface. We created the scripts for all 3 exhibits, including the voiceover narration, interview questions, subject matter expert responses, and on-screen content. We designed lighting effects for each exhibit and developed graphics for display within the space, online, and on social media for promotion.
The activation features an interactive game demo, an Intel depth-mapping 3D camera exhibit, a walkthrough of the Helix Digital Twin, and a CMS-driven, AI-assisted choose-your-own-adventure experience. We also designed a hologram exhibit that, unfortunately, wasn’t used. 🙁
